Dr. Wendell Jones, Joins Digital Fuel's Advisory Board |

Dr. Wendell Jones, Vice President of Operations Management Services at Compaq Corporation, today was appointed to the Advisory Board for Digital Fuel Technologies, the leading provider of Sourcing Relationship Management solutions. Dr. Wendell Jones is a senior executive with 30 years of management experience in the securities, aerospace, and computer industries and the U.S. military. He recently was awarded the Outsourcing World Achievement 2000 Award by PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is the author of numerous outsourcing articles and co-author of Outsourcing Information Technology Systems and Services, a book recently published by Prentice Hall. His extensive outsourcing experience as both a customer and service provider includes leading the evaluation, negotiation and management of a $3 billion, 10-year agreement at McDonnell Douglas and selective onshore and offshore outsourcing while Senior Vice President of Technology Services at NASD/Nasdaq Stock Market. He joined Compaq (formerly Digital Equipment Corp) as Vice President of Operations Management Services in November 1997. Operations Management Services is Compaq's outsourcing business unit. Dr. Jones is a member of several organizations that promote outsourcing information exchange, objective research, and best practices for both customers and service providers.
